They are pretty fun. And I am not trying to taunt you with this, only confirmation that you are not crazy about your desire to get one.

I have owned one for the past year. I picked it up from a college student who needed tuition money. He had several games with 4 controllers and nun-chucks and I bought it for $300.

We play mostly family games on it. Last night we played for about 4 hours with the new game Mario Galaxy. There are a lot of games even my 6 year old can jump in and play. Even the wife will play sometimes.

I rarely play it by myself. I am kinda of a graphics whore so its either the PC or the Xbox 360 when I play games. I have never invited any friends over just to play the Wii. But around here several bars have them and they are always being used.

Nintendo seems to be pretty concerned about a class action lawsuit so they are giving these things away. In walmart jackets of lesser quality sell for over $12 each. These are free if you already own a Wii and I think all the new consoles come with them. And you will want them to prevent events like these.

The Tiger Woods game is the best. A buddy of mine has it, and it's probably the only game I like on it, but it's addictive. It is awesome playing on those courses, they look so real to life. The best way to get one is on Ebay, if you're patient enough you can get one for under $150.00 with games included.

This is crazy. Still no Wii in sight!! They had a few at Best Buy on Sunday and there were people camped out for hours waiting. Sat. was when we had all that sleet and snow and Sun. the wind was horrible. Are people nuts???

I would recommend downloading one of the many RSS feeds that are tuned into on-line retailers of the Wii. Then you get a pop-up when they become available. I was able to pick one up last Dec that way, when in theory there was more demand and less supply.
