crosby might be out of the funk.

i'm thinking 3 points doesn't mean much though with the way our D can't stop anything. it'll be 21-3 going into halftime

With the way the defense is playing, it will be 21-3 before you know it.

Nice pass by that "elite" QB.

If ARod isn't elite, I guess their are no elite QBs in the league.

Not sure about that FG decision but the kick was easily one of his best in a while from distance.

How the hell did Suh get away from Sitton that easily?

Always throw the ball to Jones in a difficult spot, never his hands.

Sam Shields is FAST!

I thnk Fairley had him in center of field and left. He could have cut right behind Sitton and had time/room. But if he plants, could slip.

We seem afraid to go downfield with the ball. I see what I see. All these quick screens to the WR's. We are afraid to take a chance in this weather. This offense looks lost right now. Once upon a time, we attacked and sent Finley down the middle of the seam while Jennings would go deep and Cobb or Nelson would go downfield as well. We had defenses on their heals. That seems lost.

Teamcheez1
12-09-2012, 08:50 PM
Our offense scored 3 measly points against the Lions!

We would lose to most teams as poorly as the offense is playing. Couple that with the defense, and we are damn lucky to be down only 4.

channtheman
12-09-2012, 08:50 PM
Disagree with those timeouts at the end. We have done nothing to show we can stop the Lions, all you do is risk a blown play on defense leading to a Lion score. In a game where you have been dominated so much, I'm happy to only be down 4 and get the ball in the second half.

There is no offensive line for protection. They could barely hold the pocket to throw a 15-20 yard route for Jennings.

I want them to throw shorter, not longer. Faster reads. 1 then 2 progression, then get rid of it. Stop going backward. It doesn't help to run the ball if it never pulls them out of Cover 2 or slow down the pass rush.

Also, I thought you were commenting more about the Lions than the Pack O.

This is funny. Every one bitching about going down field all year. Now this week we are throwing short and people are bitching.

Haven't we been screaming for this all year. Totally agree with you. Why would they change now. Sure, we'll see some adjustments, then they go right back to the deep stuff.

I'm not sure who is better. Not sure who is worse also.

ATL got smoked by CAR.
SF gets beat by STL and tied them this year.
NYG have dropped 3 of there last 5.

The Safeties in the NFL are just screwed. When the WR turns his back to catch a ball in front of the S that is a possible pick the S gets called for 15 yards 30% of the time.
