Prevent is the worst gameplan ever. Why stop what's working well? Never made sense to me. So - you may give yp a TD - is that worse than always giving up tons of yards - hell no.

Way too early - and no lead is big enough today.
I know what you mean, but having played safety, there is one thing that prevent rarely gets credit for...the D gets to absolutely PUNISH the O, especially the WR's. I've seen teams crawling back from a lead, but it peters out because they are tired of getting drilled, and just want to go home. And I've seen the secondary lay a few on that last drive.

I'm not necessarily advocating it - just saying there are good points other than the obvious.

      • Hey Tennessee - you got your 40+

I'll say Grant is now even for the game.

        • Grant is my new hero.

          And Jackson not far behind.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

OUr D needs a rest. I would like to order up a 9 minute, 20 play TD drive for the Pack please. Heavy doses of Grant, but TD to Bubba. Thanks.
i like that idea...but another Grant td to make amends in his own mind.
            almost got your wish!

Good point - but I don't see them giving up and wanting to go home in the playoffs.

Grant busts a 40+'er today, he's been close on several occasions already.

There we go, I figured that'd come true.

                      • Funny how road game and slippery field makes the Seahawks D a bit slower. I wonder of the field crew order up snowmakers from the UP skiing resorts.
