Yeah - that was way over the top. In the postgame, even Favre said he wasn't optimistic -- I've just had this weird intuitiion that the Packers should always kickoff to start the game....Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersSorry, Fosco!Originally posted by Fosco33Who would've thought game would be over in under 5 min of play?
This is so fucking sad.
(Of course, I wasn't feeling great at that point, but I hadn't officially thrown in the towel yet.)

Bearman first shows up at 14-0. I'm betting that he doesn't make a post after halftime--if he makes it that far.Originally posted by BEARMANJudgement call ! ?

It was. Apparently, Willard and his GBP cap controls the fate of the Pack.Originally posted by WillardOops. I wasn't wearing my lucky GBP baseball cap and sweatshirt! Problem solved. Smooth sailing from here on out. My bad........"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. I always think the team that wins the toss should kick. If the unforeseen happens you are giving them a huge momentum boost, as we saw today. Kick, let them score on you, and see what happens. If you stop them and then you score, fantastic. If they score, oh well, you get a chance to make it up in the 2nd half."I've got one word for you- Dallas, Texas, Super Bowl"- Jermichael Finley

Good callsOriginally posted by JustinHarrellI think the Packers are going to kick ass today. Bigby is going to crush somebody. Kampman is going to have a monster day. Jennings is going to make a big play. Driver is going to get his chances with Trufant one on one. Grant is going to have an inconsistant day, but he'll break enough big ones to change the game.TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Very solid, solid game. Packers dominated from 6 minutes in until the 4th quarter when they let up a bit.
Favre looked sharp as a tack. Jennings looked like a true play maker. Grant ran hard. The OL was simply incredible. Kudos to Colledge and Spitz. Chuck Woodson was rarely tested due to excellent coverage. Tramon Williams looks like a good DB.
I am still a bit concerned by the amount of pressure we got on Hasselback. That needs to improve next week.

I'm sure if you all try hard enough, you can find a way to blame it on Mike Sherman....
We're 5 minutes into this, and you're all proclaiming the "game" over.
WTF? What kind of fans are you all?

Don't know the %'s - but I'd be willing to bet there's only a few in a hundred games that could be turned around after this start.
Add one more to the few

I was scared shitless after those penalties. I was thinking "ah well, if we lose, it's a young team and they can come back stronger next year".
Then at times I was saying "It wouldn't be so bad but Seattle is holding on to the ball the right way. If they were one arming it too, it wouldn't burn me so bad". I think a said "they deserve to lose if they lose this" and "our chances of winning are slim right now".
That was an ugly way to start that game. Packers ended up pounding them 42 - 6 after they gave them 14.
Most impressive game of the year. Great coaching. Great everything. I didn't think the Packers could thoroughly dominate like that.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.
