  • The SkinBasket addresses this situation

The SkinBakset believes Favre never intended to play for GB this year after he decided he wanted to play in the NFL again. The Skinbasket believes that Brett wants one more chance to simply play the game, free of the tremendous weight, obligation, and expectation that playing for the Green Bay Packers presents. Thus the strongly and strangely worded requests. The waffling. The drama.

He has given near two decades of his football life to Green Bay. There were restrictions placed on him. Expectations. Hopes. Dreams. Wet dreams. And more. The SkinBakset deeply believes that someone who loves to play the game the way Brett does simply wants to give it a go free from all of that. He simply wants to play football for the love of playing football. For better or worse, he cannot do that in Green Bay. Favre needs to play somewhere else like a successful man in a mid life crisis who married the first woman who fucked him needs to hump a hooker.

Don't blame the man. Blame yourself for expecting so much from a human being.

Skinbasket takes a large supply of antidepressants, he doesn't even know what state he lives in much less what realm he occupies.

The Brando doesn't believe Skinbasket's theory. The Branman believes Favre knows he stands the best chance of going to the Super Bowl with the Packers and he realizes he made a bad choice of retiring, now he knows it may be too late and he doesn't know what to do, so he's letting his agent try to play poker with the Packers. That's just what Branmeishter thinks.

Max thinks that if this line of thinking is true, its the cold weather and not the expectations that are driving him into Skinbasket's hooker's anti-depressant holding arms.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Ah, Bretsky thinks that explains the view
Bretsky thinks Favre wants to come back to Green Bay
Bretsky thinks Favre mishandled much of this and if there was any doubt Favre should have annouced he'd keep playing and later retire in July or August if the fire is not there
Bretsky thinks all would be kosher if he'd have done that
Bretsky thinks this whole thread should be in third person

Bretsky thinks it's cool that Ziggy mentions Wet Dreams in the Packer forum

Yeah, Basket. You're right, man. Absolutely.

The swede holds a plastic cup filled with beer and nods his head in agreement with the Basket, synching the nods to the loud music and pretending to scope out chicks...not that he'd do anything if he saw some.

If swede stands next to the cool guys and pretends to scope out chicks, nodding in feigned agreement with anything the cool guys say makes swede seem cool by association.

swede has to find cooler guys to stand next to, that's for sure.
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

The Mission is a big fan of third person and happens to agree somewhat with Skinbasket's take on it ...

Mission says Favre just wants to play some ball where its warm and put up some more numbers to make sure Manning never touches em ... He's never been a MASSIVE SUPERBOWL OR DIE from what Mr. Mission can tell. more that he just likes playin football like sir mission does.

I think we know lots of stuff for sure:

stuff 1: Thompson & McCarthy don't want Favre. Otherwise they would have simply embraced his return.

stuff 2: Favre is too proud to play for a team that is indifferent to him.

stuff 3: The team isn't going to release Favre

stuff 4: Favre is not going to sit home and watch TV this fall, this is his last chance to play and he's made the plunge.

                          sounds like a trade
