I have to admit; I saw the Jets plays the Saints in 1992 (at the Meadows) and Saints won 20-0 in freezing cold NJ. My 3 weeks in NY, NO & Atl was when I really got to know that guy Brett Favre. I was a Packer fan (since 1989) but couldn't get tickets in that pre-internet age. I got my regular Packer Report paper (as it was) in the mail but it wasn't till I saw Brett play on US tv that I knew he was way, way better than my then hero Majik. I went to the US to see 3 NFL games in 1992 with a Falcs fan and a Saints fan; I didn't get to see Packers LIVE till 2006. The oct. 5th game at Lambeau will be my 7th NFL game & 2nd Packers game. Remember, Morten Andersen was playing for the Saints and he is Danish.

So go Jets, I guess, but freakin' Packers4Ever!

Heh, I got 10 years of the Packer Plus paper stored in a box out in the garage, just couldn't throw them away. One x-mas my girlfriend used some of them for wrapping paper for presents.
I freaked out.
She thought they looked cute.

Bitter07 made a long speech calling Favre critics assholes & bashers. She capped her comments with some ironic advice for Favre critics to get over their anger. Then the ridiculous claim of victim status, persecution for supporting Favre.

It is September, the Favre trauma is now a month in the past. If Favre fans want to carry on an argument with imaginary "bashers" into winter, and maybe through 2010, 2011, they can continue shadow boxing. And I will call them fools.

You really think that throw to Jennings was a bad read by Rodgers? Watch the replay (on NFL.com). I've watched it a few times, and I'm convinced it's a great read and throw. Notice that he doesn't lead Jennings. If he had, the safety would have had a pick. He threw it to spot between the two players in a window where Jennings could catch. Jennings slowed up to make the catch, and he was off to the races. Yeah, he got lucky that it went for a TD, but it seems like a good read and a great throw to me. Hopefully, he can do that during the regular season.
