TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

He's fighting for the Vikings 3rd back.
Took stones to propose on TV; historically the Vikings lack stones
They will probably cut him

Because he likely won't play Friday and he missed offseason and camp. He needs the reps.
True, but still risky for a game that means basically nothing.. Especially when he is throwing crackback blocks, leading with the passing shoulder.
Lame block but I'm guessing his wildcat experience is rather nil.....
McCarthy ran it in GB in '07 with Driver. Before it was the Wildcat. Back then it was just MM being creative.
I think that his use of WR's in the backfield to block ('08 development) is a better/safer way to attack box count and matchups than the wildcat. I wonder who is gonna bust that out this year, be lauded as creative, and given credit for its creation.
Geez a Viking game thread?? Looked like the Pack offense for sure. Favre looked ok, mark my words, his career will end ON the football field the last time we will see him in a jersey will be on a golf cart!

Not too vanilla? Any rush he just collapsed. Maybe the worst D in the league. I'm not sure he is the leader of that team yet as was the case in New York. The difference here is he has less time in camp and I think there is a larger anti Favre group in the locker room then there was in NYC. It could all go well, but I just have a feeling an implosion is possible in Minneapolis.
