Dumping on Favre can be compared to everything that makes the Packers great.

There's 'Brett' and then there's 'FAVRE'.

Have you ever found it funny that when #4 is talked about - whether in the media, by coaches, teammates and fans - that when he does something well or gets a compliment, it's always, "that's Favre for you; Favre gives you a chance to win; Favre will take the chances good or bad". But when it's an ill advised pass into triple coverage or a pick 6 or a fumble/sack after trying to make a play, it's always, "that's Brett for you; oh come on Brett."

Somehow, combined the terms work well together, as in, "Brett Favre makes his XXX consecutive start; Brett Favre continues to build upon nearly every passer record."

But, 'Brett' somehow got the short end of the nickname stick and 'Favre' is a legend.
