Rodgers said he was open to the competition, which he might have been pissed if he lost, but he also had the balls to step up to the challenge in the first place, something Ted and McCarthy certainly didn't have until Favre had to come to Green Bay to push a trade through.

I agree with what you write. But Favre cannot get over the fact that TT and McCarthy wanted Rodgers more. It just kills him. And, he's acting like a fool. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I think Favre was the best QB we could have this year and the best playing situation was Rodgers backing up Favre. I hope I'm wrong and Rodgers plays better. I'm getting tired of hearing the bitter Favre.

He never had reason to be bitter before. whether he does now is up to each individual, but he obviously thinks he has good reason to be upset. Just because you or anyone else doesn't understand or agree with this doesn't matter. Fact is he is upset. People get upset about things and not everyone agrees with the reasons, but they have their reasons and thats all that really matters. Like I said, just like bitching about the boss! Justified or not, it goes on everyday. And I'm sure some of you soapboxers do plenty of it.
