Brett Favre. #4. Green Bay Packers. Is Brett Favre the greatest quarterback of all time? I do not believe so. Not because Favre lacks the skill to be the greatest QB ever, but because he is only a 1-time Super Bowl winner.

The 2006 season will be the last of Favre's glorious career. Unfortunately, the Packers are no better than they were that fateful day when Ron Wolf traded a 1st round pick to the Atlanta Falcons for the wild Favre. Is there somebody to blame? Yes. Not Brett Favre. Not Mike Sherman. Not Ron Wolf. But Ted Thompson.

There are two things Ted Thompson loves more than anything in the world: men and top 5 draft picks. As a professional writer, I will shed away from speaking of Thompson's sexuality. But as a professional writer, I can and will criticize Thompson's love for top 5 draft picks. To earn a top 5 pick, your team must be worst then mediocre. The team must dwell at the bottom of its conference. The team must suck.

Alas, Brett Favre will never be the greatest QB of all time. Alas.
