  • Favre calls Romo, but not Rodgers

I think this deserves its own thread:

    So what do we know?

Favre and Rodgers haven't talked since the retirement, and they didn't talk to each other at the ESPYs despite being a few feet from each other.

What's going on? Seems like Favre has beef with Rodgers.

Favre threw a number of people under a bus during the height of his unretirement, but A-Rod wasn't one of them.

I think it's classless of Favre to call Romo and not his old team mate.

I'm not a happy camper about Favre these days.

      Tell me about it.

What got me is that he wanted to play for the Vikings. My idealized image of him was instantly destroyed.

It's a milder version of running off with the jerk neighbor after a spousal argument (we're the children). Low.

The other side of the coin might be that he's not comfortable calling Rodgers, or feels the Pack wouldn't want him to - tampering or something

Didn't you complain about all the Favre threads?? So now you make one that is extra petty and sad especially coming from you TH. Have you thought maybe Favre wants nothing to do with the Packers right now? So how do you think it would have went over if he had called ARod and told him to quit being a wuss and suck it up (pretty much what he told Romo)?? I think you would be crying about how he needed to mind his own business.

As for them not saying hi at the ESPYs, maybe they did, maybe they didnt but if not that means Rodgers also made no attempt either. Based on what was going on at the time I can understand. Saying Favre has beef with Rodgers cause they dont talk is lame.

They sure are awful concerned about a team who has as many losses as last year and has a rough patch the next 5 games and will have to play lights out to even make the playoffs this year HINT stop worrying about Favre and start worrying about our sucky O-Line and lack of depth on the D-line or perhaps our lack of much talent at LB they can't stop my grandma.
