Its gameday for the Packers and like 6/7 of the first few threads are either 1. About Favre.

    2. About the Jets.

    3. About the AFC East.
Just one look at the thread starter for those and you will see why.
Yeah its why I mostly just stay in the romper room, I like to come here to talk about the Packers, not the Jets, not Favre. The Packers. Seems like its too hard to ask.
So stop talking about them......stick to the Packer stuff.

We need this game and should be able to beat the damn Saints pretty easily...Bush is hurt...Deuce is no game changer anymore and Brees can't do it by himself.

    Pack - 31

    Aint's - 17

Unfortunately, I just got back from N.O. this morning ... would have loved to stay for the game.

They sell Brees and Bush jerseys everywhere down there...

I think we will continue to play good football and win this one by 7+

Funny comment about not being hungover for this game ... I agree! Im gonna start drinking now I think... Had a sober business "vacation" (a lil craziness on sat night tho!)

      :P

      GO PACK!

fuck all this jets talk... mods needs to step in.. this country is moving socialist anyway

I would put that place out of business.
I am better looking than you.

Yeah dude, its pretty great. The wings are not as good as BW3s, but they're decent for the money. I'm excited! The one shitty thing is instead of Miller Lite they give you Miller 64, which is just not good.

In fairness to the BF worshippers, the jets played yesterday and the packers didn't so its only natural.

Mad, I don't necessarily have a "bad" feeling here, but this game will tell us which team is gonna make a push and which team is gonna continue to struggle. I like the way we have played lately and I think we win, but in honesty we still don't know for sure if this team has put it together. Tonight will give us that answer I think.

Kampman has seemed a bit less effective lately. I'm not sure if it is the lack of pass rushers helping him or just him slumping a tad. Remember we have no KGB, no Jenkins, and no Corey Williams....that was 3/4's of our 3rd down package last year wasn't it?

I think they'll win tonight. It's going to be a battle, but we match up very well with the Saints.

With MN and CHI winning yesterday the same could be said about the Packers but this game just feels wrong. Thinking we see a shoot out.
I agree, I feel the same way. I believe we'll see the saints employ trick plays and a lot of desperation. Even though we are the superior team and match-up with the Saints very well, as Partial pointed out, this is a make a break game for them at home that has me worried.

I think Green Bay should be able to pull this out, but I worry about their slow starts on the opening drives. I think we probably have more Penalties on our first drive of the game throughout the year than the amount of points scored on our opening drive. We have to be one of worst in terms of that in the NFL this year.(Correction from what I added up we do have more points than penalties on our first drive of the game. 10 points vs. 6 penalties:Not all penalties were accepted, that is an eye opening stat).

                          Final score Prediction: GB-34 NO-27

                              Packers 37
                              Aints 17

Some team finally shuts down that passing offense. The Pack matches up very well with NO and they surprise a lot of the national audience who didn't realize how good the Pack can be this year. Pack start the game running a lot of multi receiver sets and then sink into a running game mid 2nd. With a poor pass rush, and the Saints on their 4 and 5th sting CBs, AR has a field day.

                              AR 360 yds 3 tds o ints
                              RG 122 yds 2 tds

                              Defense 2 ints 1 td

Should I just start banging my head against a wall now to get a head-start on all Kornheiser's inevitable Rodgers-Favre comparisons?
