    Vikes update uniform

    The Vikings are expected to unveil their new uniforms late next month during the week leading into the NFL draft, following a recent tradition of teams maximizing the draft frenzy that culminates in on-site draft parties. Team officials have described the changes as relatively subtle. One of the more significant changes is expected to be the reintroduction of purple pants, although it is unclear whether they will be used for road or home games.

    Maybe they've changed their purple to lavender, more befitting of a queen.

            Those purple pants are coming back?

            What the hell for?

            One game in the 60's, the Vikes screwed up & had purple pants and purple tops. They looked like a bunch of popsicles out there!

                    I don't like their colors, but I like the all purple over their current uniforms.

                    There were rumors on KFAN.com that they were going to change the helmet. Is that true or not?

                          Wilf can do no wrong. Why were they even considering a change from the horns? That is the best part of their uniform.

                            Anyway, your first part is correct...


                            I forget which game last year but as I was leaving the dome a chant broke out (may have been the Green Bay game, actually it was)

                              Actually I've heard they are ditching the purple all together. I live in the Twin Cities and I was able to come across some top secret images of the new uniforms from the Winter Park office. SEE BELOW:
