It better be vs. the Bears.

That said, everyone loves this pick. I love this pick. I comp it to Zach Tom in the 4th. All he did was put up great tape and freaky athletic testing. Totally a 4th round picks. Every GM should be ashamed. As per the typical Gutes draft I like the back end a lot more than the top. I'll touch on that more in other threads, but in no way should the Dentist have lasted to our pick in the 3rd much less the 4th. Hell, based on production and athleticism he probably comps out like a Brian Burns who went in the first round a couple years back. I wanted Burns then, I'm thrilled with a guy who is a lot like him in the 4th now.

This pick is going to remind us of the Zach Tom pick where everyone is left asking "why weren't GMs high on this guy??" Production, twitchy, high motor. I'm seriously trying to find a flaw in the thesis. He is like the Micron of the NFL draft.

Dude, I am still hopeful you are also right about John "The Composer" Williams. If he could develop into a starting guard, Banks can go after this season if he's not up to snuff, or Belton can be moved to tackle so there is a backup option there.

Banks can’t go after this year anymore. We kicked his contract down the road to get more cap space. We could have cut him after 2026 will almost no cap hit. Not anymore,

obviously, of course we can cut him. It will just cost us a lot of cap room that we didn’t have to.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

YA BANKS just made GUTEBAG is lil bitch. GuteBag got Kirk Counsin'd reallly really bad.

Can you believe we've paid that guy 45 Million and he's hardly played, and when he did he underperformed.

He needs to show up this year and be a leader cause we're stuck with him for at least two more years.

GUTE really F'cked up on the OL big time.

            :Pray it turns out OK

I wasn't near as high on williams. I said he was a flyer to take that job and no way he should have lasted to 7th, but DDS actually could arguably be a first rounder in my book.

That said I'm sad wiliiams lost a year of development. Hopefully he has a good camp and competes. I loved his tape.

He has flaws, but I'm not sure why he fell to R4. I'm glad he did though. The Edge room needed a body, with Gary and Enagbare gone and Parsons out the first month of the season. He'll need to work on hand usage and doing better vs. the run, but he's super athletic and guys with traits at that level hit more often than not. Led the Big 10 in pressures this past year on a bad team, had more sacks in his college career than Gary or Enagbare did, and he's a better athlete than Enagbare. I think it's a really good pick.

Penn State does a terrible job of developing its players - there are a lot of players who come out of there and have better NFL careers. If DDS takes to Covington's coaching and Micah's mentoring he could be a Day 3 steal. If not, he's a more athletic Enagbare who can also give you some good special teams snaps (he had something like 2-3 blocked punts). When Micah comes off the PUP list it's trouble for either Mosby or Cox (or both).
