I don't think Goodell has the power to change court schedules. If I'm wrong about, things are even more fucked up than I thought. Please sounds more plausible. Since Jacobs can't play until everything is resolved, and he can probably plead out of jail time, it's in his interest to do so.

Likely all Jacobs. He's on the exempt list until the case is done so a lengthy docket hurts him. Better to get to a resolution on all charges and see what the Commissioner tacks on for a suspension.

A plea deal with the county prosecutor would make sense for all. Hopefully it happens.

It would seem the most likely thing is that he misses four games.

Josh probably misses 6-8 weeks. Personally I would have waived him and told him to come talk to me when its over.

For sure any games he's missed while on the Commissioner's List will count as time served. I'm guessing a five game suspension (why do suspensions have to be even numbers?) after the court date, which means he'd get "credit" for time served for the first game. All a guess.

Josh Jacobs pled no contest to the battery and criminal destruction of property charges. The domestic abuse enhancers were dropped as in WI you must either have lived with, had children with or have been married to the assailant. The victim apparently was just visiting.

DA asked for and got a conviction on battery and diversion program for property charge. Diversion dependent on 1) avoiding any further criminal activity, 2) no contact with victim, 3) accept supervision, 4) accept counseling and 5) pays restitution.

Conviction on battery cost him $1000.

Undoubtedly, the NFL will suspend him, but probably not more than 6 weeks, hopefully backdated to the beginning of the exempt status thing.

Plus $3 - $3.6 million for the suspension, depending on if it starts this week or next. I'm pretty sure the suspension will have to be 6 weeks, but since a much more severe case earlier this year only got 8 games, I can't see this as more than 6.

So nolo contendre - he admits to no guilt but does not contest the charges. Yeah, probably a six game suspension. So it'll be interesting to see if the Packers go outside zone, and if they do, how that goes. We're back to that square-peg-round-hole thing if that's the case and Jacobs shows up for week seven.

The woman was known to Jacobs. She was dating Caleb Williams previously according to internet snoops, who were aware of her instagram. She's an influencer of some type and Jacobs had shown up in her feed like they were seeing each other. He couldn't have chosen worse for anonymity if he tried unless he found an unattached Kardashian.
