How about the 2000's Reggie Bush?

Packers LB Zaire Franklin, who missed last week’s game after getting accidentally kicked in practice, suffered a hairline fracture in his leg, sources say. Green Bay did not place him on Injured Reserve, and they believe he can return while missing minimal games.

Sean Rhyan has a high ankle sprain
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

          Packers On SI - Huber

He had surgery on Dec. 29, meaning his first practice will be a little more than 10 months later and his potential season debut will be a little less than 11 months later.

He was hurt on December 14th. Those two weeks plus the meniscus damage provide a reasonable explanation for the longer rehab duration.

Or they had no clue. I can't tell though to be honest. Is he ready to return or is it "no point in waiting longer its not improving".
