I have read a lot of about the OT in this draft. I have also watched a lot of highlight tapes, NFL network stuff and all the video available. Monroe is THE BEST T in the draft. No doubt. If the Packers get him, it will be a miracle.Originally posted by BadgerinmaineI'd like that, too, but something tells me he will not last that long.Originally posted by TheCheesemayock has us taking monroe. that would be awesome value.

If Sanchez goes #2, and Jackson goes #3...Originally posted by BadgerinmaineI'd like that, too, but something tells me he will not last that long.Originally posted by TheCheesemayock has us taking monroe. that would be awesome value.
It's entirely possible. I figured J. Smith would be gone at #2, but the Rams seem pretty damn interested in Sanchez. The entire OT order drops down then, so instead of Oher or A. Smith now there's Monroe for us. Awesome if it happens, he's one I would love to take at #9.Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow

One of those OT's took a call, I think the Rams are going OT.

Any OT would almost certainly be the starter at RT.Originally posted by wist43Remember now kids...
The goal is depth... no starters allowed
If its not an OT or Tyson Jackson then they probably won't be a starter.Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow

Stafford:
Overall Football Traits
Production 2 Finished 6-2 as a true freshman starter in 2006. Started 34 games in three seasons at Georgia. As a junior in 2008, completed 61.4-percent of his throws for 3,459 yards with 25 TDs and 10 INTs. Finished career completing 57.1-percent of his attempts for 7,731 yards with 51 TDs and 33 INTs.
Height-Weight-Speed 2 Only adequate height with a thick build. Needs to continue to tone his body and get stronger. Possesses good straight-line speed for the position, though.
Durability 1 Has been extremely durable throughout his career. Never missed a start due to injury and has played through some nagging nicks and bruises.
Character 2 Hard worker with solid leadership skills. No off the field issues. Scouts have some concerns about his focus. However, his passion for the game and commitment to succeeding is obvious.
Quarterback specific Traits
Game Management 3 Has good starting experience for an early entry quarterback, especially considering it comes from the SEC. He is tough. Will stand in the pocket and take a hit. Appears to be a solid leader and competitor. However, still has yet to prove his ability to perform in the clutch. Also has yet to learn the true value of ball control. Forces too many throws and tends to trust his arm too much. Has had some trouble with center-quarterback exchanges (two fumbles in '08 CMU game alone). Appears to lose focus from time to time.
Accuracy 2 He is an accurate passer with rare potential if he masters his footwork. When he sets his feet, drives off his back leg and follows through; his accuracy is excellent. He does a fine job of squaring his shoulders and throwing accurately on the run. He also flashes the ability to throw the deep ball with very good touch. But he must learn to take some MPH's off his fastball on underneath throws. His footwork remains inconsistent, as well. He will rely too much on his arm at times, which is when he gets sloppy with his mechanics. This leads to him sailing some throws.
Release 2 Displays an over-the-top delivery. Rarely has a batted down pass, despite only adequate height. Overall he gets the ball out with adequate-to-good quickness. Only complaint here is that he hasn't learned to shorten his delivery on quick-hitting throws, such as screens, quick slants, dump-offs to RB's, etc. Underneath finesse throws need to be made with more efficiency.
Arm Strength 1 Possesses exceptional arm strength. Can make all the NFL throws and more. Excellent zip on deep outs. Can throw with elite velocity while on the run particularly when rolling out to his right. He fits the ball into more tight spots than most starting quarterbacks in the NFL right now.
Mobility 2 Much better athlete than anticipated. We were really surprised by his foot quickness and scrambling ability when studying him on film. He does an adequate job of avoiding the rush. Will buy extra time with his feet. Is capable of tucking the ball and running for the first down. We did notice, however, that the vast majority of his scrambles are to the right side, where he is far more comfortable throwing on the run. He does a fine job of squaring his shoulders and throwing with velocity/accuracy while on the move.
