You are correct, cp, but remember too that there is time between picks. Goodell doesn't just get to the Seahawks pick, and have the Seahawks rep walking up in the last twelve seconds left on their clock. Seems like the league gives teams time to walk up. Then there's the hemming and hawing and the dramatic pause while Jets fans cry out in anticipated anguish. Then there's the new #1 jersey of said team, and so on and so on.Originally posted by cpk1994the 10 minute clock doesn't stop for TV. 10 minutes is 10 minutes.Originally posted by FritzNot really, JH. You'll have t.v. timeouts and time for Mel Kiper to re-mold his helmet-head hairdo. It'll be, I'm guessing, closer to five p.m.Originally posted by JustinHarrell3:00 is the first pick. 10 mins per pick, so we should pick short before 4:30. It's going to be exciting to see picks fall off the board. I know we'll all celebrate when Sanchez is picked (if it comes before us).
I still think it'll be longer than an hour and a half before the Pack is on the clock."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

the more I see almost all of the college DE's that NFL thinks could be OLB, I see the same thing. I love Orakpo, but I think we're going through a trial seperation period.Originally posted by JustinHarrellPlease, no Orakpo.
Orakpo is all straight ahead. He's a workout warrior. He's not a football player that can move. He can only go one direction, straight ahead, and NFL OT's are going to stone him cold."I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. The problem is getting him to put down his beer and come out of the stands and do those things." - Danny Murraugh

Mc Shay trades Kiper for his hair. I don't know, Mel's molded hair (which he says his wife cuts for him) reminds me of a bad Play-Doh mold.
They spent some dough for those hair jobs.

Now that the Kitties are stupid enough to throw that much funny money at Joey Harrington the 2nd, it'll be interesting to see what else will happen.
See that New England now wants to trade out of the first round?! Man, there's more disinformation going on here than a Tom Clancy novel!
Ted is still a BPA guy, but I'd be happy with Tyson Jackson or Raji.
Kept hearing about the scenarios of Crabtree falling to us. Though it'd be a heck of a problem to have, I don't see it happening. Cleveland or Jax will pick him up first.-digital dean
