The only position I'm real concerned with yet is OT. Alex Boone from OSU would be a nice addition.

        • Doh - Beckum's gone at 100. He's gonna be boom or bust imo.

Pretty impressive to have 1 of every 25 picks made this year to be Badgers!

          • Good for Travis. Glad to see he's going to a solid football team.

Has he done anything else stupid since then? Yes, it's a serious offense, and I hope he got what he had coming for it. But if it was a one time crime and not a chronic problem, I think there are probably many players out there whose character issues would pose more of a problem as an employee of the Packers.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

Amen to that. I hope his health holds up.

                  • Rastak, have you watched the combine video of Matthews? Dude reminds me of Chad Greenway. Athletic, fluid, nice size, needs to put on 10-15 pounds but has the frame to do it (Chad did too, and has).

No I haven't......I think it was a pretty good move to trade up though. Should have some impact as a rookie.

                      • At this point, I'm not enamored with picking an OT. They all look like developmental picks and none look like starters. We have several developmental OL as it is. I'm okay with RB, TE, OT, DE, CB, or P at this point.

God I hope so, the packers defense needs some pressure on the QB

                            • A lot of the teams picking between now and us already picked an OT, so the odds of someone slipping to us might be good.

                              I like T.J. Lang, personally.
