Is Pedescleaux still available? If he is the athlete Waldo claims, sign him up!!! 5 tech is our #1 need right now and from the sounds of it, he is a very good prospect for it.
Pedescleaux is still on the board, and this is a good spot for him.
completely on board with this
for good karma I'll predict this guy
backup is Clemons although Packnut likes him far more than I
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
Rumors are that some/many teams have flunked Ingram on his knee. He looks like a fantastic prospect though. Would be nice to take a late round flier on him.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
Just realized the Bengals drafted the punter from University of Cincinati
just put that together

"Finally there's a fullback," one scout said. "Best blocking fullback I've seen in a couple years. He was a linebacker that they moved (in '06). He doesn't ever run the ball or catch the ball but he's powerful." Backed up Jacob Hester for two seasons before starting in '08. Finished with 16 carries for 34 (2.1) and three TDs and five catches for 54. "Big man," another scout said. "He attacks you and has some power."

I'd be happy with Pedescleaux. It's all about need.

Those are just numbers to me. How do they compare to successful 3-4 ends in the NFL?
Very favorably. He's big, quick, strong, and has a huge wingspan. That's basically what you want.
We took the other FB, hopefully Everette Pedescleaux will be there for one of our later picks.

Production 3 2004: LSU red-shirts Johnson who lines up at linebacker. 2005: Johnson appears on special teams against Mississippi State and records one tackle. 2006: Johnson moves to fullback and appears in 12 games primarily in a special teams' role. He carries the ball twice for a total of six yards and records three tackles. 2007: Johnson starts five of the 14 games he appears in. He doesn't record any carries but catches three passes for a total of 21 yards. 2008: Johnson starts 10 of the 13 games he appears in rushing for a total of 28 and three touchdowns on 14 carries. He catches two passes for a total of 33 yards.
Height-Weight-Speed 2 Prototypical height, prototypical bulk and adequate top-end speed.
Durability 1 Durability is not a concern to our knowledge.
Character 2 Character is not a concern to our knowledge.
Fullback specific Traits
Blocking 3 Does good job of rolling hips into blocks, strong and flashes the ability to knock defenders back on contact. Doesn't get great hand placement and fails to lock on at times so has some problems sustaining blocks.
Vision 2 Does an adequate job of reading his keys. Flashes the ability to locate secondary target when primary target doesn't show but a bit inconsistent in this area.
Athletic Ability 4 Stiff in the hips and has problems adjusting to moving targets at the second level. Struggles to plant and change directions smoothly.
Running Skills 3 Runs with low pad level and can churn out tough yards between the tackles. Lost a fumble during 2008 Mississippi State game. Lacks elusiveness and won't make many defenders miss in the open field.
Receiving Skills 4 Hands are adequate at best. Takes too long to get into routes and lacks the burst to separate from the coverage coming out of breaks.

Official Bio
Stars
Strengths:
Excellent size and bulk...A dominating lead blocker...Powerful ball carrier...Very physical and aggressive...Terrific special teamer...Has some potential as a goaline specialist ...Team player... Top intangibles.
Weaknesses:
Very little experience running the ball...Does not have very good speed...Won't offer much as a receiver out of the backfield...Limited athletically...Is still relatively raw...Won't be a good fit for every team.
Notes:
Was a high school teammate of Tyson Jackson...Began his college career as a linebacker before moving to fullback in 2006...Finally got more of an opportunity to contribute in 2008 and responded with a strong senior campaign...Plays the position with a defensive mentality...Certainly not the type of versatile threat that most teams are looking for at fullback these days....Basically a one-dimensional blocking specialist ... Could make an NFL roster in the right situation.
