I got to meet Ahmad this afternoon. He went to Graham High School...which is about 20 minutes from my house...and he's in town hosting a football camp at his former school. I ran into him in town and I got an autograph. He told me he looks forward to getting back to the Super Bowl this year. I told him I'm a Packer fan and asked him what it was like playing in Lambeau during the playoffs. He said that stands out to him more than the Super Bowl. He said the atmosphere was electric and playing against Brett Favre was the highlight of his life. Ahmad's a really nice guy and signed autographs for everyone who wanted one.

Yeah...he never mentioned it, but I'd say he was numb all over. He's in town until July 16.Originally posted by Scott CampbellCool story. I can't believe he didn't complain about the cold. Though I suppose the end result helped with that.

Hahahaha....oh yeah! Gilligan used to live 5 minutes from my house. He used to grill out in his yard all the time and he knew me by name. And noooo.....we didn't smoke pot together.

Well its a strange day when you read two mentions of Anthony Dilweg and only one of them is on a Packer Message Board. He was quoted in an article about real estate development around Durham, N.C. The article was about fellow Dukies Christian Laettner and Brian Davis and the development company they co-own. After inital success, they have had some setbacks and are getting hit by lawsuits from investors (the link I saw was about Shawn Merriman suing them).
Dilweg runs a more established company and said athletes sometimes have a hard time taking a step back and retrenching when the situation calls for it. He believes their success on the field has taught them always to be confident and push forward.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

similar story, i was in san antonio and i was around 3rd grade and we saw Vlade Divac in the elevator haha. They were in town to play the Spurs. I had no idea who he was at the time (my dad told me later), but being that young, he was 28 feet tall.Originally posted by NumbI was in the same elevator as Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Andre The Giant.
