What are the rules on here anyway? I got a PM lecture from the Admin way back when for "shaking the shit out of idiots". Asked me to tone it down. I guess I did that satisfactorily because I have never gotten another warning, but I did respond to the PM asking what the rules are on this board, and never got a response.

Sometimes no response is itself an answer.

What ended up getting him banned, anyway?

He pushed a little bit too hard and when told to stop he pushed even more. He could be a fun poster at times but he got to the point where most of his posts were direct jabs at other posters and not at arguments.

Yeah, I'm familiar with his work, but I was wondering what straw broke the camel's back.

Well back when I joined the way to get in the Garbage Can was to have 200 posts and been a member for a length of time I think. I know the post count was a requirement, not sure about length of membership. Madtown still owned the site then so I'm not sure how you gain access now. Try clicking on usergroups at the top and requesting membership. Maybe admin will allow you in at some point.

And yeah it pretty much was argumentative nothingness but it was a constant stream of the same people doing it in the Packers forum which I think was the main thing. Unregistered users who visit (lol) only have access to the Packers forum so it would be nice if it didn't have all that crap. I think most of the threads were moved to the GC or the Romper Room.
