    I recall saying, in here I think, that he reminded me of Aikman.

      I only watched Aikman near the end of his career, but looking @ the stats, I don't think I can agree with the people who say he reminds you of Aikman...

      Once in his career did he have a season with over 20 touchdowns... That doesn't seem like Rodgers at all, but more of a game manager.

            From what I remember/have heard was that Aikman was deadly accurate, and could pick up some yards with his feet too. Sounds like Rodgers to me.

            I think Aikman had a good deep ball, too and like Rodgers didnt throw many picks.

            I think Rodgers is faster and stronger though, and doesn't have the benefit of Irvin, Smith, that Boys defense, and that oline they had.

            Rodgers = Aikman on steriods?

              Holy crap. That was an underwhelming read. I guess the rings definitely got him in.

                and the "12's" tie in too, but I'll leave that one alone.

                  Aikman doesn't have the arm strength of Rodgers. Neither has shown to be a game changer (yet) but with a good back, OL and D, can win a superbowl or 2.

                    What does that "12" stand for, anyway? Hmmm. Maybe he is a lot like John Holmes.

                        "Big" (no pun intended) difference... at least Aaron's number "12" can keep the blood coursing to the tip and get the job done.... doesn't "limp" off the field like a "4"....

                        Sidebar... John couldn't keep that snake up with all the coke in Los Angeles... and his body was definitely not a "Wonderland"....

                            I am thinking of Bob Griese in his day he was one hell of a QB and a good game manager and Arod will be the one to break his win streak in the future

                              Has to be Young. I think Young was considered a running QB instead of a mobile QB because not a lot of guys were running at the time. If you think about the big QB's from the late 80's, early 90's, the only runners were Cunningham, young and maybe culpepper. Young always talks about how Vick is the "final evolution" in quarterbacks, but I think over time it will be proven that no matter how exciting Vick (and Vick level QB's) can be, players on Young's tier are where its at. Not afraid to stay in the pocket with all those skills but willing to take a big run or a first down on his feet if he sees it.
                              - Once again, adding absolutely nothing to the conversation.

                                I don't see the Young-Rodgers likeness. Young was a bit more accurate but his arm strength was average at best. Rodgers's arm is much stronger and he takes more risks. I don't think Young would have attempted (let alone completed) the fourth quarter post to Jennings in the SB.
