same here, and I live in St. Paul. I avoid them like the plague.

Minnesota is making it really, really tough on themselves. They're aging a little at some important positions and now they're going to fight to the very end with no break and maybe no bye.


Next week against the Giants, on a short week, they're going to have to come out against a very bitter, angry team that has something to prove, even if it's just pride. I wouldn't want to be in a pride match against NY.

Then if things go the way they look, they'll be playing Dallas at home with no bye week, then Philly on the road, then the Saints on the road. When the Vikings don't have the noise advantage of that crazy dome, they just don't play nearly as well.


Early in the season everything was going the Vikings way. Now, I don't know if they have any better of a shot than we do.

Well, I think the scenarios are as follows:

Philly gets the bye if:
Philly wins -OR- Vikings lose

Vikings get the bye if:
Vikings win -AND- Philly loses.

Cardinals get the bye if:
Cardinals win -AND- Philly loses -AND- Vikings lose.

Yes. Minnesota with no bye and two road games against really good teams if they want to make it to the dance.
