I was reading a thread on another forum about Packer season ticket holders and profit making and got to wondering how many on here had season tickets or their family has some. Is it still the same wait for tickets? It of course was a pretty heated thread with all kinds of traitorous crap being thrown around...even Fuzzy was slandered.

[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

He waited to long and should have just thrown it away.....but at least he hung onto the damn ball. Sometimes it better to take a safety.

Can't really disagree (argument could be made for peart), though stephen morris is my fav.

Great drummer, human metronome....and then stepped out from behind the drums and created the famous programmed drum beat in history.

Ty hates Rush, but acknowledges Peart as being a great drummer.

Morris: Actually start with Joy Division (only 2 cds). For New Order you'll want to check out their first singles Everythings Gone Green and Temptation...First album was Power, Corruption and Lies. Greatest rock disco band of all time.

You'll see how he went from drummer to drummer/programmer.

                            JD:

Most famous song - Love Will Tear Us Apar - robotic drumming...machine like, yet so many can't do it or even get the sound : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yTIpcwBTTs

                            Spartan hook - She's lost control: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPirC...eature=related

                            or live http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVc29bYIvCM

                            Elegiac - Atmosphere : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMA33Bs3zAk

                            Sweeping - Transmission: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flVEo...eature=related

                            Mesmerizing - Atrocity Exhibition:https://<a href="http://www.youtube....eature=related

                            New Order:

Everythings Gone Green - Transition from JD to NO. Awesome pyschedelic. Live perf at Ukranian Theater in NYC.

                            Temptation - Same Venue -
                            https://<br /> http://www.youtube.c...?v=K6bEAsmBSss

Confusion - Working with Arthur Baker, if you don't know who he is..google him. Major club hit...with the early hip hop crowd for a bunch of english guys.

Blue Monday - the single that started a thousand copycats - Yes, that is the bassist whacking the "drum" before he takes over as lead bassist (hook is a great bassist)..morris is on the synth

Perfect kiss: Probably the one their greatest songs. Great performance vid directed by Jonathan Demme (new order always had great vid directors). Watch Hook, you think it is guitar..and it is him on bass...about 5 minutes in he stops bass and is playing "drums"

                            Lemme know what you think.

P.S. Live, NO were very hit or miss, especially early on...not a confident band...i caught early shows where they had their backs to the audience.

The funny thing about that is how he got in that position. Clearly a white guy. He looks like he jumped off a cliff or something.
