    Not a drummer.....

After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

Ya know, Tyrone, for a crack-addicted approximately 30 year old African American, you have a tremendous variety of experiences in a variety of cultures from back in the day.

You sure you're really a crack addict? And a young one, at that?

Ty hasn't seen 30 for almost 14 years. But, i'm blushing girlishly that my posts had you thinking i was that young.

Experiences: don't get started on baroque cantatas...ty will go on all nite.

P.S. Virtue of growing up in a family whose parents only listened to classical and opera....ty's dad after chicago symphony..."philip glass is a jackass". Ty's dad after another listless nite at the MSO, "schemerhorn is useless."

The most modern music they played: Mom...dixieland jazz, Dad...occasionally when feeling ebullient Spyro Gyra, but ty believes that was only because, like dad they were from buffalo.

Sigh. The good ol' days. Driving with the parents, listening to WFMR. "Your public contributions keep WFMR providing, you the listener."....ty silently, stoically dying in the backseat.

No wonder you turned to drugs.

Ty likes to imagine you as a combo of dorothy parker, tracey ullman, and jennifer jason leigh.
