They need to cut Ryan Grant after this year and move on. He is not good.
You can't be serious. F'ing ADP couldn't run behind this line..
Dead serious. Peterson would dominate behind this line, are you kidding me? Grant doesn't elude people he runs right into them. He doesn't ever break a big play, which is all Peterson does.
Peterson only has 67 yards rushing against the 49ers today so far. I think it's safe to say their line is light years better than ours.
Petereson is a second half player and makes most of his big plays on the second level by himself. Peterson runs through traffic and makes plays. He'll clear 100+ yards I'm sure.
Maybe he will, but according to you he would dominate with our OL, so why isn't he dominating with a superior OL right now?
What is your definition of dominate? He is having success. I'm not watching the game, so I have no idea about his play today. Peterson is a completely different type of runner than Grant.

Grant hits a hole and goes down on contact. Peterson hits a hole and punches the first guy who tries to make contact, then bitch slaps the second and third while galloping for a long play. I don't think Peterson's line is that much better at all personally. I think Pete makes most of his big plays himself. He's unbelievably physical and strong.
You don't think their line is much better? How many sacks has Favre taken?
Wasn't it 8 prior to today? ARod has brought at least half of the sacks on himself imo.
And, of course, all of bert's are his line's fault. You are a piece of work.
Never did I say this. I haven't watched the Vikes so I have no fucking clue. Stop with your bullshit agenda.[/quote:9b7f84ba7a]

Just threw a rocket on 3rd &12 then ran down field for a pointless block.
AWESOME effort on the block son
40 yr old, hurt bicep, pointless as receiver was being tackled.
      Play til whistle
I respect him and he'll be my fav player - ever. But he's losing his mind.

That's your cue to yourself to STFU about comparing the Packer line to the Viking line. Jesus fucking Christ.

So much for calling things as they are...
They have a new center and a second year RT, don't they Ras? We have a superior left tackle in Clifton, they had a better left guard in Hutch, we have a much better center in Spitz, I don't know anything about there RG, and we both have shitty RT.

            You tell me, guy.
We have an inferior LT in Colledge, a below average guard in Spitz, and an average center in Wells. And that's the way it's gonna be for another month. Now you know.
Injuries happen. Grant wasn't doing anything with our starting line with a stud LT, a very good guard and a very good center, so...
Clifton never has been and never will be a good run blocker. So, if your judging based on Grant's production, Clifton is far from elite.

Oh, and you're certifiably crazy if you think Spits is a PRO BOWL caliber center.
I agree Clifton isn't a superb run blocker but how many LT's are? Is McKinney? I have no idea but I doubt it as he's known for quick feet and being a pass protector.

Bob McGinn wrote an article (I think) saying Spitz was taking a step to the next level and is very good. I guess you know more than the professionals, right? Spitz is very, very solid as I understand it.

14 of 30, 1 td, 1 int....best back in the nfl, just think what he could do with our line. Poor Bert.

I think Minnesota has a much better OL and I think you'd be challenged to find many that would argue with that.
                    Agree to disagree I guess.

Clifton is still great. I'll give you he is injured. He is much better than McKinney.

Without a doubt Hutch is better than Colledge, but Colledge is still solid. Great versus very good. I'm okay with that.

Spitz is a border-line pro-bowl player at center. He's very good and I imagine he is much better than the first year starter at center for Minne. Again, I really have no idea, though.

Sitton is a solid, big nasty RG. I don't even know who Minne's RG is so I would like to hear Ras' opinion on the matter.

Isn't Ryan Cook starting at RT and isn't he horrible? We'll see. Otherwise Phil Loadholdt the Rook is probably starting. Barbre sucks.

Come on Partial; we agree on a lot of things but to say our OL is as good as the Vikings is foolish IMO.

At this point in his career Clifton is no better than McKinney; but saying he is is important to your argument because it might be the only position we are as good as they are at. Spitz is nowhere near Pro Bowl caliber at G or at Center. Wells is sub par. Sitton is nasty but not good enough yet. College is decent.

                    We are average at best
They are solid at worst and dominant at best

I have a hard time believing many would call our OL solid at this point
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Who even brought up the line? Not me. Peterson is like Sanders in the sense he would make plays without a line in front of him. Grant's suckitude has nothing to do with the Packers line.
