Point being, he's playing not to lose. The Bears are a REALLY, REALLY shitty team, yet they are only 6 points down at half.

The team looks lethargic. You have a tendency to look lethargic when you play not to lose ...

I don't know if it's cause playing the Bears or what. Living in IL I watch a lot of the Bear games and they are always real boring.

You're exactly right. The refs need fined for getting a call like that wrong, especially on a replay/challenge. $50 K would make them pay better attention.

So the team has been lethargic the entire first half because of a timeout call that should have happened with 46 seconds left?

Funny, I didn't see McCarthy fumble or make a bad throw, fail to make a catch into the end zone. His red zone play calls seemed to be geared to touchdowns, not FGs. So I think this criticism is weak.
