At least when I start game threads the games are entertaining. I got that going for me.Originally posted by BretskyFor further support refer to his Brewer Game ThreadsOriginally posted by Freak OutBallhawk gets the blame for this loss.
The Favre lover Gex needed to start the game thread.
If I was with him and he told me he was going to start up the thread for the final seasons game and carry us through the playoffs I'd have tackled him on the way to the computer and held him off for days

Don't forget Carson Palmer and the BengalsOriginally posted by missionya maybe doucet would have been off the field more and a hampered boldin could have "kinda" been covered.Originally posted by Brandon494Not kidding..... and they did this without BoldenOriginally posted by BallHawkHow many points would the Saints have put up on us?
im at a loss to describe what i witnessed from our defense tonight... and against pittsburgh, and against minnesota twice, and what i saw in second halfs against tampa bay, san francisco and im sure another team this year.
i don't know what to think.
leave the 3-4, promote trgo or perry?
i mean, what's up with our schemes? do we need a guy down there on the sideline getting up in people's faces...
i don't know...
proud of arod tonight, regardless

Well, I watched the game with some friends. Don't care much about the early turnovers - bad decision/tough break.
Put the defense on their heels with the short field and somehow they could never recover.
This one is 100% on the D. Only 1 turnover and 1 punt. Can't win playing like that.
We got lucky to force OT. Got lucky to get the toss. Got unlucky on two missed penalties - but it's easy to question it in slow-mo.
If we'd have played better on D - we'd have to get ready for NO. And then MN or DAL. The way the D played - we had no chance to get to the SB.
Fuck it.
Need an OT, OG, CB (nickle) and a KR if Blackmon/others dont get healthy.
Need to resign Clifton, Pickett and Collins.
Not the way we wanted to play - but somehow you have to feel we overlooked the NFC Champs... despite what any coach will admit.
Jennings quote before the game says it all, "we're not worried about the Cardinals, we're worried about ourselves...."> Hmm....The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

Oh I know this but stars are made in the playoffs and ARod, Finley, and Jennings really showed me a lot today. The future looks good in GB even after this game, we are not that far from being a force in this league.Originally posted by esoxxIf you finally figured this out today, you're a little behind the game.Originally posted by Brandon494Finley showed me a lot today, future star in this kid for sure.

I know it's water under the bridge at this point, but I have to think the Packers send tape of that helmet to helmet hit on Rodgers to the league office. I wouldn't be surprised at a fine coming from that one.--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

Sorry if this wasn't mentioned... but dang.
Last 2 playoff games - both lost in OT by the QB right after the opposing team misses a FG...
Next time - win it in regulation. The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.
