That's what happens when one denies the inevitability of aging rather than embracing it.

I thought it was the pregnant elephant look.

I just read a couple of articles about Schneider's hiring. Carroll has final say in personnel decisions and the team intends to build around Carroll's philosophy.

Sure sounds to me that Schneider is GM in title only. He's a glorified scout/cap guy.

If I remember correctly, Thompson and McCarthy (sounds like a dance

team) are close in age - roughly Mac 52-53 and Thompson, 55.

              (not researched)
Is it really a halo or
              just a swelled head ?

Heard Schneider on NFL radio today. He said with how well TT and MM were doing he didn't see a lot of opportunity for advancement. He said he grew up in GB and was hard to leave his family behind.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Perhaps with a newly fattened paycheck?

That's OK. Good training for him before he returns to Green Bay when TT retires.

Could be the money is much better. But this surely seems like an apprentice stop to me. Thus I like Patler's logic, though I picture TT being around for another ten years.
