I'll take fill in/leftover teams if there are any. Just assign them to me if we need to.
I will also happily give up the Vikings to mngolf or Rastak if they ever show up again.
this is a dream come true for the bucs. rumors are they want to trade up to one of the top two spots in order to get either Suh or McCoy. in this scenario they don't have to and still get what they want (the other top player in the draft).
The bucs are in dire need of d-line help and they get a stud with this pick
other possibilities here would be russell okung and eric berry
Those two DT's seem dreamy, but how can St. Louis pass up getting a decent quarterback? If they have already made up their mind wouldn't they be negotiating with somebody? I know I'd be afraid of passing up Reggie White II in order to pick Trent Dilfer VIII.
st louis is in a tough spot. suh and McCoy are much better players then bradford (imo). but the rams have absolutely nothing at QB, if they can't trade down then they almost have to draft the one QB with high first round potential. the big problem is, he is a massive injury risk
The Washington Redskins and GM 3irty1 are on the clock.

The Redskins select QB Jimmy Clausen from Notre Dame. Russell Okung is mighty tempting but the Redskins have no business passing on a franchise QB. Clausen might be the most NFL ready Jr. QB to ever enter the draft.
Lurker64 and the Kansas City Chiefs are on the clock.
70% of the Earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by Al Harris.
Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs were 22nd in the NFL in pass defense. There are generally two ways to fix this: acquiring a pass rusher or acquiring a playmaker in the secondary.
Russell Okung is considered here, but given the improvement of Brandon Albert in the second half of the season after he was told to totally relearn the position, it's not considered a major need. The defense is missing a nose tackle, but there isn't one worth reaching for here (and this is an especially deep draft for DTs). There also isn't really a pass rusher worth considering here, though the Chiefs would be in good position to get a top guy from the second tier at the top of the second. Considering that there aren't many offensive playmakers besides Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe (who is frequently in the doghouse with the coach), Dez Bryant is considered here but ultimately rejected due to the high bust rate of first round WRs.
So the only real option left to us is to acquire a playmaker in the secondary. The Chiefs select Tennessee Safety Eric Berry who was one of the most impressive ballhawks in all of college football last year, he has the ability to run like a corner, and hit like a safety and should immediately improve the pass defense.
berry is a stud and should make KC a very happy team.
i for one am not convinced at all that clausen is a franchise qb. add him to a bad offense in washington and he'll bust out of the league in no time
i have no problem with the picks so far, but i'd shit myself if the top LT in the draft (and a damn good one at that) somehow falls out of the top five.

that just doesn't seem right to me
I'm not so sure about Clausen. Clausen is really the only QB in this draft who didn't play in a goofy spread-style offense, he actually played in a pro style offense and has made all the pro style throws. He produced with admittedly high quality talent at WR, but no running game to speak of, and a fairly mediocre offensive line. So he's a lot less of a mystery than the rest of the guys in this draft.
He's got some personality red flags (he's apparently a dick), to be true, but he's probably the most NFL ready QB in this draft and he doesn't have an injury history like Bradford. Reasonable pick for the Redskins, but I could also see them taking Okung since that offensive line is B.A.D.

Yea and their LT did just retire, I believe Okung will end up being their pick.
