Jason Worlids is a freak that had 32 freaking QB hurries last year
Physically, and production wise, Hughes as it. Can he pick up the LB position mentally? don't know enough about him, but he's interesting.

Those four stand out a bit to me. The others, I haven't gotten any real evidence that they can handle coverage, but I don't have all the information Ted has. Any of these 10 yd/3-cone guys could fit well with us (based on physical attributes) depending on what our guys know about them.

    Hughes
    Great Attitude
    Love the game of football
    Great Motor

I'd be happy with him at 23 but I think he'll go a bit later in first/early second.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

That's our Brad Jones and CMIII. I put them in there, just for comparisons sake. I'm doing a Waldo impression here, but I think he's on to something looking at these trends. It looks like the guys we draft tend to show these characteristics.

Seeing these numbers makes me think there is little chance we'd pick an OLB with the first pick. It doesn't appear that any of them are a better athlete than Jones. That doesn't mean they aren't better players right now but I see little chance that we'd use our first pick on a guy who might have a lower ceiling than the guy we already have.

that article makes it sound like none of those guys are worth a 1st round pick

We do need to pick up a couple at some point. Clearly, Thompson hit a home run with Matthews but other than him, the cupboard is pretty bare at OLB. We have Brad Jones; a seventh round draft pick who did yeoman's service as a rookie; we have Brady Poppinga who is playing out of position and never was that good anyway; and we have undrafted Cyril Obiozor, who largely appeared to stay with the team because Kevin Greene made a project of him.

I would be surprised if we don't pick an OLB in the first three rounds, and at least two in this draft.

Edit: Oh, and we also have Jeremy Thompson... who, despite a neck injury, is unstoppable in shorts, and mediocre in pads. If the NFL ever goes to touch football... watch out!

Oh yeah, we definately take one at some point, maybe even early. Just doesn't look like its worth using our first on IMO. I still like Graham, and I'd like Hughes with an early second but none of them seem to provide a big enough upgrade to use our first on. I'd rather get a nice upgrade to another position and hopefully fill the OLB depth with a later pick (like Misi, Watson or Worlids).

You sure about that? I find that kinda hard to believe
Hawk - his 3 cone really stands out...that is an outstanding 3 cone time.

                1.56 10 yd
                2.72 20 yd
                6.82 3 cone

Sure, Hawk hasn't been a big play guy...but he's a very athletic LB.
