Displayed toughness playing through a torn labrum. Loses his composure on the field at times, however, leading to unnecessary penalties.

It's a really deep draft for DT's. I can't fault BPA. Our DL is alright, but like Harv said, Jolly and Jenkins are both up after this year. Jolly has the suspension. Oh, and Neal might be a really good player too. . .
We all talked about the powder puff Packers for years. Well, now we're investing in the trenches. That's football. It's not flashy, but big guys win games.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

I don't understand the hate.
We're gonna need a good run defense...that starts up front. Dom must like him.[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

That's the key, Swede. It was Dom's pick, not TT's.Originally posted by swedeI don't understand the hate.
We're gonna need a good run defense...that starts up front. Dom must like him.One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

He was also team captain and the defensive leader. Sounds like Packer people to me."I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious." - Vince Lombardi

? with Harrell and Jolly. Pickett and Jenkins are aging. Currently on packers.com. High Character guy.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersWe may not have Jenkins and/or Jolly next year. He may need to start in 2011.Originally posted by wist43They'll play him at end... but still, we were, suprisingly, very solid at DE last year... even if he's a decent player, don't see how this pick makes us any better over the next couple of years.

We'll see how it pans out. Just curious why he was ranked so low on the boards..Has to be a reason for it..Originally posted by swedeI don't understand the hate.

Who starts for Jolly if he gets suspended?Originally posted by wist43They'll play him at end... but still, we were, suprisingly, very solid at DE last year... even if he's a decent player, don't see how this pick makes us any better over the next couple of years.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Jenkins is turning 30, is a better fit in a 4-3 and his contract is up after this year. Jolly has possible drug issues and a possible suspension coming up.Originally posted by wist43They'll play him at end... but still, we were, suprisingly, very solid at DE last year... even if he's a decent player, don't see how this pick makes us any better over the next couple of years.
It's going to be exciting to watch our DL play this year. We'll be able to mix up fronts, mix personnel, handle injuries and play well late into games and into the season.
I wanted a CB, S or RB too, but if this guy is a good DL, he'll help the team.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.
