Not me, but I figure everyone has gone somewhere. Not many post here very often.
The question is; will they come back, or stay wherever?
    Therefore:

    PackerRats vs. ???????
Well, the ones I go to are (in order) packersplanet.com, packersnews.net (not .com/GBPG), packerrats, and packershome.com. Packersnews.net gets the most traffic out of those, I think.

If anyone has the time to run a website/forum that actually draws new members I would be more than happy to help finance it. I just don't have the time or knowhow to do it. Is PackerRats for sale again?

I'm most excited to watch the battle for the 5th and 6th DL. Raji, Jenkins, Pickett, and Neal are in, and we'll keep six so the last two spots comes down to Anthony Toribio, Ronald Talley, Jarius Wynn, Justin Harrell, and C.J. Wilson. Since we'll suit up 5 on game days, one of those guys is going to have to play some snaps, no less.

I'm going to be there on Saturday and both of Sundays practices. I plan to watch the DL mostly.

I think there's a decent chance they keep 7, especially if they decide to keep Harrell. There might not be 9 LB's worth keeping. The experiment with Jenkins at OLB is a way to try to make 7 DL/8 LB work instead of 6/9.

Does Harrell even make the final cut? DL should be a battle....OL and backup CB/DB.....of course the annual punter shootout.

Anyone else think they could keep Lee, Havner, and Quarless? They could dump one of the 3 FB's they carried last year and there you go without changing the numbers at other positions from last year.

Quarless seems to have a lot of upside, but I doubt he shows much as a rookie. Havner brings a lot of versatility. Lee's solid and he knows what he's doing. And they run a lot of multi-TE sets.

Thompson has certainly shown a willingness to be overstocked at a certain position if that position has more talent.

That said, Bigby and Burnett are the obvious answer to the question.

I think it's definitely possible. For it to happen though, both Lee and Havner have to shine on special teams. By the way, I think they'll also keep Finley. :P

                    My pre-training camp roster prediction:

                    Offense (24)
                    QB(2)- Rodgers, Flynn
                    HB(3) - Grant, Jackson, Starks
                    FB(2) - Johnson, Hall
WR(4) - Jennings, Driver, Jones, Nelson
TE(4) - Finley, Lee, Quarless, Havner
OT(4) - Clifton, Tauscher, Bulaga, Lang
                    G(3) - Sitton, Colledge, Spitz
                    C(2) - Wells, EDS
                    Defense (26)
                    NT(1) - Raji
DE(6) - Jenkins, Pickett, Neal, Wilson, Wynn, Harrell
ILB(4) - Barnett, Hawk, Chillar, Bishop
OLB(4) - Matthews, Jones, Poppinga, Obiozer
CB(6) - Woodson, Harris, Williams, Lee, Underwood, Bell
S(5) - Collins, Burnett, Bigby, Martin, Blackmon
                    Specialist (3)
                    P(1) Masthay
                    K(1) Crosby
                    LS(1) Goode

If he's healthy he makes the cut. They aren't going to PUP him again, but I couldn't imagine they'd cut him now if he's healthy. Not after everything they've invested in him up to this point. Wouldn't make any sense. To me anyway.

I think Harrell's status has everything to do with his health. He's going to have to be able to be on the field - for him, even getting nicked up and missing practices here and there is going to be grounds for cutting the guy. Such is my opinion.

I don't know I'd want to keep four tight ends, though. I agree that the three fullback thing is not a good idea, but that extra roster spot ought to go to an extra offensive or defensive lineman, I think. Or to whatever position you have the most talent in. But I don't see tight end as being that group. I think if the team likes Quarless's potential in training camp, they have to suck it up and keep him, and cut either Lee or Havner, who did himself no favors with his accident.

If Havner does come back strong, I wonder if they could get a late-round conditional pick for one of the TEs? Would Lee be an upgrade for any other teams out there?

I guess what my question should have been does anyone think he can stay healthy through camp and then the pre-season?

Nope. Hurt by 3rd day of camp I think.

So what's Spitz's prognosis then? Because I've heard that both he and Harrell have the same back injury. Since I'm not a doctor, I don't know if that's true or if one is worse than the other.

I don't have much faith that Harrell will remain healthy, but I'm hoping he will because he's a talented player.
