The conspiracy-theory part of me wonders if Favre's recent I'm-retiring-and-texting-people-no-I-didn't-text-anyone-I-might-come-back routine is a panicked attempt to overshadow the potential Jenn Sterger story.

I think the sports media will be respectful. If he didn't do this, it's horrible to have his name drug through the mud.
