  • Rodgers was amazing. James Jones is better than Jordy Nelson.

Yeah. Pretty much. His weak point, holding the ball. . . . He was decisive. When there was an open guy he hit him, when there was pressure, he made tough throws in tighter single coverage, but did NOT hold the ball. . . . EVER. It's a good sign.

I never bought into the whole "holding the ball thing". I, at the time, blamed it on Colledge and the rest of the OL, and I still feel that way. I would counter that it is good to see that Rodgers trusts his protection now and is performing without fear of getting killed.

          • Yeah, there were several reasons. Rodgers has come a long way in his two years starting though. I see a different guy and this being the best OL he's had, it's going to help too.

And then there's Finley. . . It's going to be a huge year for the Packers offense. I think we're all expecting that.

agree. would be a total let down to get anything other than this.

              • Our defense is not an elite unit. We played lots of weak offenses last season and took advantage of a plethora of turnovers. Our schedule this year is much more loaded in terms of opposing offenses. I'm really afraid this defense takes a step back.

However, our offense should be very strong. I'm not a fan whatsoever of our running game. Grant is mediocre...Jackson is a 3rd down back. RB is going to have to be a major focus next offseason.
