I don't see this either. The days of one back shouldering the entire load are over. Grant couldn't handle that anyhow.
John Kuhn is your third back.
Kuhn is great at the goal line, but I don't see him carrying the ball 5-10 times a game should something happen to Grant/Jackson.
Why not? He had 5 carries last night and was a prolific runner in college. Set all kinds of rushing records at Shippensburg, with close to 1,000 carries for close to 5,000 yards. He was a big running back that was converted to FB in the NFL, not a former linebacker or TE as many others are.
I guess it's just because I haven't seen him do it. 5 times maybe, but not sure as the primary ball carrier. He's primarily a between the tackles type guy. I don't recall seeing any east/west type stuff from him.

Grant does with a little help from B Jack...
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

Earnest Graham did it in Tampa a couple of years ago, he's their starting FB now. Brad Hoover did it in Carolina 3 years ago, still a FB for them, I believe.

It's not that uncommon in a case of injury.

The question that Ted needs to answer is, is John Kuhn more valuable than Lumpkin? I think that answer is clearly YES.

So far, does just Havner being cut count as a WTF? Any keeps so far that qualify?

We may grab a depth guy off waivers and cut someone, but Havner is going to be the biggest surprise.
