    Packer TC Injury Report.

    TC Injury Report - 3 Aug. 2006.

    ** Quarterback Brett Favre wore a black rubber sleeve on his lower left leg to protect the calf that was banged during a blitz drill on Tuesday night, but participated in the entire practice.

    McCarthy said it's not serious and if he were concerned, he would have rested him.

    ** Running back Najeh Davenport (ankle) sat out another practice, though this was the first time he missed a workout when only one was scheduled. On days with two practices, he's been sitting out the morning workout and would do so again Thursday, though it was unclear if he'd be ready to return Thursday night.

    ** Guard Junius Coston returned to practice after recovering from heat-related issues the past couple of days.

    Maybe we could use this thread to keep track of the Teams adversity.

    Some of us. . .almost had a major coniption yesterday when we realized we could find littl ink or no photo's revealing Nick Collins was "in fact" in TC.

    Then as usual - a woman came to OUR rescue. MJ

      Harris, Franks and Alcorn held out of practice

      The Packers had three new injuries — players who didn’t practice Thursday morning. Cornerback Al Harris sat out because of an elbow injury sustained near the end of practice Wednesday. Starting tight end Bubba Franks and backup tight end Zac Alcorn also attended but didn’t participate Thursday morning because of unidentified injuries.

      Quarterback Brett Favre also didn’t practice Thursday morning, but by all appearances it was because the Packers are holding him out of most morning practices on days when they have two workouts to limit his number of throws. He did not have a wrap or ice on his calf, which was kicked in practice late Tuesday night.

        Tight end Bubba Franks sat out both practices with what McCarthy termed "camp swelling" in his right knee.

        Al Harris also sat out with an elbow injury sustained on a running play during Wednesday's practice, when Samkon Gado and Nick Collins crashed into a water cooler while going out of bounds.

        Tight end Zac Alcorn missed practice because of an injury to his side, sustained when he fell on the ball while making a diving catch over the middle on Wednesday.

        Najeh Davenport (ankle, cramps) missed both practices after previously being on a schedule where he'd sit once on a two-practice day.

        Guard Jason Spitz         had his quadricep wrapped in ice at the end of the evening practice.

          How about a Clifton update? That tackle position is still all F'd up isn't it?

            Yea Murph. He's limping and being rested (ice pack on knee two days ago I believe).

            Let the young fellas have all the time they can get to hopefully improve. We certainly can't expend Chad Cifton and Mark Tauscher either, in TC.

                The lack of depth at that position is scary.
                Our OL as a whole - is about as stable looking, as the mornings fog before the sun rises 20 degrees above the horizon.

                      I find if you wear a patch over your left eye it helps . . or maybe just hold something over that portion of your screen - like your left hand.

                      DAM those trying annoyances in life, that get your head throbbing like a young robins ass or the misery of OUR 4-12 season last year.
