Bad news. At one time I was optimistic about Bishop but the dude looks lost when he plays. Clearly lost confidence since starting the preseason game and failing.

Thank goodness Hawk was not traded. Expect more teams to attack the A gaps.

Better go get a RB like NOW...we will need to score 30+ points to win games this year.

The '07 Patriots did it outside for a similar reason -- Belicheck didn't trust their D to hold any lead.

              We've got the tools.

I'm feeling really down about this season. I know it's early, but for crying out loud.

Grant. Harrell. Burnett. Possibly Barnett. Gone for the year.

Chillar - who knows? Harris, Bigby. Missing the first six games AT LEAST.

                This is ridiculous.

No that's not right. I love vaginas, and they've gotten this negative connotation with being a pussy. Having a vagina shouldn't be confused with being a pussy.

Anyway, WTF does Barnett need his wrist for anyway? The guy's always waving his idiotic arms in the air trying to correct for his bad angel caused by a total lack of instinct and stupid hair, so a cast should help balance him out, and it's not like he's actually tackled someone the right way in 4 or 5 years now.
Urlacher had the same injury last year and missed the entire year.

I agree. I expected some injuries, but this is just too much to overcome. Might be time to re-evaluate my expectations.

I blame this all on RG and his thread that the Packers should be able to overcome any amount of injuries and still go 16-0.

Wow, what a way to start a season as SB favorites.

I guess we will find out how good TT is as GM as he adjusts to all this bad news.

It's really a shame that everything is happening so early in the season. It really helps to highlight how great the team was last year to come so close to the NFC Championship game.

It was 2002. 6 guys ended up on IR, but a bunch more were banged up and missed significant time. We had 8 defensive starters who missed a lot of time, but I don't remember all the details.

On IR were Bhawoh Jue, Najeh Davenport, Scott Frost, Mark Tauscher, Chad Clifton, and Joe Johnson.

That was the year we moved Flanagan to LT and had a very old Earl Dotson at RT. We went 12-4, losing in week 17 to the Jets in the Meadowlands and then losing to Vick & the Falcons in the first week of the playoffs.

Here's a blurb I found in a quick google search:

Green Bay, for example, shares the best record in the league even though the Packers have lost 14 starters to injuries for an average of four games. Eight Green Bay defensive starters have missed time due to injury; seven of them missed at least two games.

Damn sherman for not throwing the challenge flag when the punt hit ATL's helmet and was subsequently fumbled by the punt returner.

That was a hard season. Sapp's cheap shot on Clifton was brutal.

If I remember correctly, that team got off to a great start before the injuries took its toll. By the end of the year, the team was a shell of what it was at the beginning. By the end of the year, it wasn't a 12-4 caliber team. They were losing a lot more and barely beating bad teams at the end of the year. Thus, the early playoff exit.
