Woody, your penalty for drawing this conversation out so long should be to have Bert's cro(t)c(h) shot as your computer wallpaper for the next month. Have a good look at Lorenzo for a few days and then tell us that it's all been a big misunderstanding.
Well, I guess most of us would view that as punishment.

Somewhere in Greater Britannia a fan of American football with a sweet tooth, an aversion for children, and a deep-seated hatred of the Minnesota Vikings is laughing.
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

After more than a week of complete silence -- and several weeks of deliberation -- former in-house Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger has met with the NFL in connection with its investigation of Vikings quarterback Brett Favre into voice messages and photos he allegedly sent Sterger in 2008, when…
Sexy ex-Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger finally met with NFL investigators today to spill the beans about how superstar quarterback Brett Favre tried to land her in the sack with sleazy voicema…
"And The Post has learned that Sterger and her legal team gave the NFL "a substantial amount" of material and information beyond what was previously reported about Favre's pursuit of her.
Sterger, 26, met for more than three hours with NFL security chief Milt Ahlerich and another league investigator at an undisclosed location in Manhattan. She was accompanied by her lawyer, Joseph Conway, and her manager, Phil Reese.
"We can confirm that a meeting took place with the NFL today and we cooperated fully by providing them with substantial materials in our possession," Reese told The Post after the sitdown.
The plot thickens. Reading between the lines a bit, it almost sounds as if Sterger's legal team is threatening to file suit if the NFL doesn't take action here, possibly with financial restitution to Sterger...

Hard to say for sure, but it's not looking like a good day for team Bert. And it happens just as we think the story is dying. But it's the gift that keeps on giving.
"Sterger's sitdown with NFL probers -- which came after more than weeks of uncertainty about whether she would agree to that interview -- greatly ratchets up the chances that Favre will disciplined by the league for the purported misconduct, which allegedly occurred when he was playing for the Jets in 2008."

No actually, well first the NFL cant order Favre to pay her. So if he is suspended then presumed guilt is there and her lawyers get busy. Looking for a settlement of course.
Lombardi told Starr to "Run it, and let's get the hell out of here!" - 'Ice Bowl' December 31, 1967
The only hint of a reason for the delay (other than to encourage settlement offers before talking) was the hiring of ex FBI investigators to prove that he got her cellphone number from a Jets employee. If they now have that proof, that would explain a lot. And ole Bert would be in big trouble. The Jets too.
