<- to who ever said Quarles was just as good as Finley
he looks a lot like Finley in his 1st year.
haha but you didnt say that. Dez Byrant has been looking pretty good also.
i did say that. I expect the kid to improve by the end of the year. that's what I said. he's gotta play to improve.
nice try. big difference between good upside and just as good.
im all for upside. i'm all for player development. but this is a game where a statement is needed. put lee in there for an important play early on
I dont think Lee makes that play either. but that's just me.
dammit someone needs to make that play!
ok, enough ranting, 10-0 would be amazing the way our d is playing, we gotta capitalize
now that I can agree with! Play probably should have come out of the book after Finley got hurt, but hey, that isn't the way McCarthy does things. There were probably only running plays left to substitute.
While our offense still looks like garbage, the defense needs to be given a lot of credit. It's played pretty well all season long, and is now shutting down arguably one of the best offenses in the NFL. All that missing so many key starters. We're using a linemen we just picked up on thursday.
You know who needs to be given even more credit?
DOM CAPERS. So many haters on him for his "lack of blitzing" - give the man his dues. He is using 3rd stringers and PS guys out there and finding ways to put people in position to make plays and limit points. Dom Capers is one HELL of a defensive coordinater.
Packers have got to start moving the pocket and letting Arod roll to his right - play off the safety. Let him make plays with his feet and have some receivers comeback.
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.
Vince Lombardi
"Not really interested in being a spoiler or an underdog. We're the Green Bay Packers." McCarthy.
