Um, Brandon? This thread has been about racism against Newton from the very first post. That's why I bring up racism when there is something negative about him- because I think it's fucking stupid that Moon said that, and that you defended him for it, and I'm mocking it.

I consider myself a very good judge of character. Nothing ignorant about it. I'm good at it. Better at it than most, by far, IMO. It has served me very well in life. Maybe mentioning his dumbshit facial expression comes off wrong, but you can get a lot from looking into someone's eyes if you pay attention. Facial expression and body language can say more than words in many cases.

As far as stepping into someone else's shoes though, Moon is the one throwing unfounded accusations around, so I have little patience for his point of view. Criticize anyone black for anything, and you end up having to defend yourself against allegations that you are a racist. It's fucking stupid. It's turning into a "boy who cried wolf" scenario with the reflexive abuse of the race card.

Moon was just plain wrong to say that, IMO. There are plenty of valid reasons to question Newton, and to try to unjustly turn it into a race issue like Moon did is bullshit. If he was discriminated against in his life based on race, he should have more respect than to dilute the concept, and ignore the repercussions and weight of an accusation of racism by throwing it around indiscriminately just to defend a QB prospect that he likes from having to go through the normal QB draft prospect critiquing process.
