Eagles are now the Packers biggest threat in the NFC. Actually, they probably were last year as well.I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

It's now official from the Packers website that Barnett has been released, along with Mark Tauscher, Brandon Chillar, Brady Poppinga and Justin Harrell. http://www.packers.com/news-and-events/article-1/Packers-release-seven-players/dab18783-b902-4e9e-b128-6527703c2965Originally posted by MJZiggy View PostBarnett must have been released? He just tweeted this:
Ok not going to lie the bolts fans and lions go hard on twitter!!! I see a couple eagle fans and Tampa but overwhelmed by Detroit and SDTeamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

The thing is, we don't play them this year and we're not scheduled to play them next year. A team you don't play can't be that huge a threat.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostEagles are now the Packers biggest threat in the NFC. Actually, they probably were last year as well.
Also, this pretty much guarantees that Samuel has to be moved, as DRC/Asomugha are press-man CBs and Samuel is an off-zone corner. It's hard to mix them, since Samuel doesn't really play man and Asomugha doesn't really play zone.</delurk>

You can never guarantee somebody else doesn't beat one of the teams you're concerned about in the playoffs, and pretty much all of the teams you play in the playoffs are good.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostI'm already thinking playoffs.

Lurker..ya beat me to it.
The Eagles have D-line issues and now are losing all of their linebackers. Yeah, they signed Babin but is he really going to help. I don't think so. I guess the eagles are thinking that having better corners will improve their D-line - give them more time to get to the quarterback. I'd rather have a stellar pass rush over a stellar secondary.
