If we are doing a top 100, why do we even need to mess with the Shiancoes and Lawsons. We should eliminate them now, so there's no chance they get overranked when we leave this up to PR users.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

The list of Top 300 was generated by Pro Football References Average Value metric. We used a 3 year window to week out one year wonders and career achievement awards but also to include those who may have had an injury in one year. There are undoubtedly oversights or other errors (such as Favre's 3rd retirement).

The alphabetical problem with the 201-300 group is a functional of the 3 year window and the small values or Average Value. There are a ton of players who have averaged 14, 15 or 16 points in three years. Which raises another problem: There are likely viable players in the 301-320 range or so who have the same values as the last 20 in my list.

So someone should probably review the list to weed out the unnecessary (Favre) and then we can add those immediately after 300 as fill-ins.

I am still working on adding positions to the list.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
