Because noone seems to know much about him, and he has reportedly looked good thus far running with the 2's, I'll say Cardia Jackson just for shits and giggles. The reality is it's far too early to have any real sense of what will happen here. The coaches don't have much of a clue yet, how could we?

vince, I think you are thinking like a true genius, because it probably isn't going to play out like we think. I went for a player not on the roster.

They have those two extra OLBs, but I just don't see any of them inside. Maybe Walden.

          That's Harvey's guy:

          D.J. Smith a fireplug
Sixth-round pick D.J. Smith physically looked like Sam Mills out there. Mills, who had an outstanding 12-year career in the NFL, was really short for a linebacker at 5-foot-9. Smith isn’t quite that small, but he’s only 5-10 1/4. Still, he showed a little something.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

Smith, and he could be starting before the end of the year if only he could lose an inch and a quarter.

I voted for Brad Jones because he's the only one of those ROLB candidates that the coaches have expressed potential to move inside.

ha. Harvey sent out false signals, and all the lemmings chased after the midget. genius.

peanut - I tried to screen out the practice squad types, sorry if I left out your own diamond in the rough

I think Jones could play inside in a Chillar-type role. I'm not sure he's strong enough at the point of attack to be an every-down ILB, but he can get from sideline to sideline and track guys in space very well in clear passing situations.

How can you not pick a guy named "Cardia"? I only wish his mom had added a "c" to the end of that name. How could you resist? "Now entering the game...Cardiac Jackson!"

Trick question, Brad Jones will take over as a ILB cover specialist like Chillar was and will get some reps at OLB as well, but if AJ or Bishop were to get hurt I think DJ Smith steps in as the replacement, not necessarily Jones.

Bullock is still available I think.
