Some guys are just thick and powerful even though they're short. Usually it's tough for a short guy to carry weight. Could you imagine a 5'4" 340 bound DL. He'd be a little rolly polly umpa lumpa with stubby little guinea pig legs and useless little allegator arms. Tall guys tend to be heavier and have longer limbs.

But inside, if you're a 6' powerfull guy with tree trunk legs, a big anvil for a bubble, a barrel core/chest and longer arms than normal for you size. . . . I don't see why he couldn't get under guys, slide his feet, anchor down with his 310+ weight, get movement with his powerful legs, etc. . . . . There are some rare guys who carry weight differently than others, low, powerful, squat, explosive. Raji is an example. Barely 6'2", carries weight low. Powerful as an ox. Bubble like two 75 lb medicine balls, tree trunk legs. . . . . .

James Harrison, Sam Mills, Kieth Jackson as a TE. . . . etc. . . . . There are unique body types that can do it, even if they're not as common as the prototype.

Quinn Johnson can't block on the move (ST's, stretch runs or zone runs.) He just misses his target. It's not like the would be tacklers run straight into him so he doesn't have to change his path.

Quinn Johnson can't catch. Sure he's done it a couple times, but he seems about a 50/50 bet to actually make the catch. He can't run.

The only thing Quinn Johnson can do is block straight ahead, but Raji can do that better anyway. Hell, EDS would be a good squat body to ram up there too. Quinn Johnson is the most useless piece of crap on our roster. If he's not cut, I hate Ted Thompson.

He was on kickoff coverage and punt coverage by the end of the preseason, but I have no idea if it was as a starter or fill in late in the game.
