I read that Donald Lee got cut by the Eagles.

Lee was fine, but I really thought Tuna stole something special from us in Haynos. Just like that RB he got from us when he was with the Jets. What was that guy's name? Jerald Sowell or something?

Brandon Meriwether really released by the Pats? Some of their idiot fans were squawking a few years ago about how this guy was one of the best safeties in the game.

He takes some pretty shitty angles, not a good safety, but I figured he'd make the Pats' secondary.

Saw that and was surprised as well. He made the Pro-Bowl last season! That's not the end-all and be-all, but you don't often see guys cut the year after they are named.

I'm sure there's more to this. They weren't happy with him in TC last year, maybe he's a malcontent, and they've had enough? I'm pretty sure he can still play.

I would take flyer on Tolzien over Harrell. But I don't know that either can make all the NFL throws. Gotta be somebody better out there.

I find the cutting of Harrell disapointing. Only because they invested a fair amount of training in him, now they have to start all over.
