I find the cutting of Harrell disapointing. Only because they invested a fair amount of training in him, now they have to start all over.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

To say he's a "character risk" is putting it mildly, and that translates on the field in that he doesn't always care to complete his assignment (I think he knows what it is, he just doesn't care). I'm not privvy to the Pats playbook, but there were a lot of times last year where the Pats pass-D gave up plays where Meriweather was doing nothing that it made sense for him to be doing. I'm guessing he drove the coaches nuts.Originally posted by Partial View PostBedard was saying that he doesn't fit in with the Patriot way.
It was pretty obvious even before he was drafted: Meriweather is a talent, but he's a handful.</delurk>

Perfect for the Bears. Him and Briggs should get a room..Originally posted by Lurker64 View PostTo say he's a "character risk" is putting it mildly, and that translates on the field in that he doesn't always care to complete his assignment (I think he knows what it is, he just doesn't care). very interestingOriginally posted by Lurker64 View PostPanthers cut Everette Brown. I know a lot of people here liked him going into the draft (I didn't)... I wonder if we'd put in a waiver claim.
was suppose to be an awesome OLB in the 3-4 but got drafted by carolina that made him a 4-3 end

Complete bust either way. If he couldn't do anything with Johnson getting double teams opposite him, scheme ain't gonna matter. Still gotta beat the guy in front of you.Originally posted by red View Postvery interesting

Lots of people wanted this guy, many were scared of the FSU/Reynolds repeat.

i'm pretty happy with the fat guy we ended up taking at #9 and that long haired freak we drafted instead of brown to be our stub 3-4 OLB later in the round

Ballhawk took Everette Brown with the #13 pick in the Packerrats 2009 Mock Draft.

Ok, so that was the Raji/Mathews draft. For some reason I thought it was the year prior to that... maybe because hindsight makes it obvious that Raji was such a good pick and how could we ever debate that one.Originally posted by red View Posti remember those debates. i'm pretty sure i did not want him. people wanted us to take him with the #9 pick
