God, Brees is cutitng it close too. He's getting rid of it quick, but 3 near picks. . . . He's been nearly killed a couple times. Something has got to give.

And the TOP is 20 minutes to 10. We can come out no huddle and wear these guys out, then run it down their throat in the 4th quarter with the Grant/Starks duo going behind Wells/Sitton/Bulaga/Crabtree. . . .

The offense is clicking. I really like MM play calling late in the 1st half. Saints go to 2 deep safeties and we run 50% of the time on the last drive.

Shawn Slocum is going to drive me crazy again.

Great 1st half, looks like resting until training camo was the right call.

They're going to come out with some ideas here, but Capers has had Clay lying in the weeds. . . playing kind of disaplined with his run gaps. He's only come off the edge one or two times. . . We're going to come out, show blitz, drop into coverage, causing Brees to hold it for a split second longer. Clay is going to get a single block with the blitz show throwing the pass pro unit off a bit and Clay is going to Kevin Kolb Brees.

Good point. His invisibility from the preseason continues. Some felt it was because they were giving the young guys a chance to prove themselves. I'm not going to get all over him because he goes a half without a catch, but when you add in his non-performance in the preseason, you have to wonder.

huh? it's about first downs and points, not running the clock out. the saints started looking for the run and stopping it. i posted that right after a run for a loss. we got our first down...with a pass. missed another pass and then the long run for a td.
