What game will you be stuck with? We're getting the Tampa/Falcon game so off to a Packer bar for me and my hubby.

Man, Da Pubic Bears always play the Pack tough. Although the Pack would seem to have a great talent advantage (outside of the defensive line), the cover-2 gives Rodgers and MM fits, and there's always that random James Jones fumble or the stoopid unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on, oh, let's say Jarrett Bush today, to fudge up a game.

First time I'll be watching a Packer game with my girlfriend. After this, I wonder if she'll break up with me.

Alright, lets start an argument. Best uniforms in a single division?

Clearly its the NFC North, right? Even before my allegiance transferred, I liked the Bear's unis, a blue so dark you think its black on TV (or used to before HD). Orange a little questionable but as a former Browns fan, cannot complain. Purple not my favorite color, but I think it works especially for the home uniforms. Green, like the blue Bears, is just fantastic though I am not a fan of the white and gold road uniforms as much. Honolulu blue is not as cool as the Chargers powder blue, but its still good and makes a good road uniform as well with silver. Which of these complements is not like the other: gold, gold, silver, orange?

NFC East: Giants good, Eagles old green was better, Redskins yellow on is red terrible, Cowboys I loathe.

NFC South: Tampa was better as a creamsicle, Falcons are eh, Panthers are one step away from being a roller derby T shirt. Saints are good.

NFC West: 49ers red is good, Cardinals are OK, Seahawks should be banned like asbestos and Rams are good. This division could be trouble if the Seahawks weren't color blind.

        Your thoughts?

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think Finley will make the Cover 2 a harder proposition for the Bears in this game. As I recall, he was around for the first game last year and the Packers were moving pretty well with him, but kept shooting themselves in the foot (penalties, turnovers, etc).

I think I like the newer version of Tampa better than you do. The creamsicle was almost girly. My spellcheckhas never heard of a creamsicle... Redskins unis are putrid.

We'll see if significant rain can make the NFL's worst field even worse. Decent chance of T-storms throughout the game.

Oh good, rain. We get to hear discussions of the size of Rodger's hand versus Troy Aikman's dainty extremity.

No big surprise... Barber and Carimi = out. Roy Williams will start though.

The real reason for the 5 second NFL TV delay... to ensure Troy doesn't unzip and show his dainty extremity...
